In the micrographs pictured, the top left image (A) show consistent polish with micropitting and striations at an oblique angle to the edge. The middle and lower micrographs show overlapping oblique and parallel striations cutting into well-developed, continuous polish. Striations found at differing angles were on top of the developed polish suggests that the tool was used multiple times.
