Sunray venus (Macrocallista nimbosa) scraping tools. There also were over 2000 fragments of sunray venus shell, some obviously flaked, grooved, or cut. Collectively, the tools and the many fragments representing manufacturing debris suggest that numerous tools were made from this durable clam shell at the Guadalupe Bay site, most of which used and discarded elsewhere.
