| Striations, stains and polish cover this odd limestone tool that may have been used for a variety of purposes, including grinding. The striations, or cut marks, in the central pit, suggest that a soft material may have been cut on top of the stone. There are also pecks in the depression, perhaps from pounding nuts. (See detail.)
