Plan of two 1 x 1 m excavation units. The rotated unit at the top, Unit 2, was dug in the summer of 1979, uncovered a small hearth (Feature 5, a fire-baked patch of sediment about 35 cm across. The lower unit, named N113 E98 by its southwest corner coordinated, was dug in April, 1980, and cut into the earlier unit. Both units contained a dense deposit consisting of the well-preserved bones of various small animals. Source: Brown (2006:Fig. 10.4).
