Over the next decade, Thompson, along with his brothers and sons, built additional, larger mills, expanding into Trinity County. Thompson-Tucker Lumber Co. mills were located at Old Willard (Woodlake) in 1890, Big Mill (1903-1923), and in 1922 the Thompson Brothers reorganized as the Rock Creek Lumber Company.
