| The Harrell site lies in an area of mixed environmental resources, where the Rolling Plains meet the Oak Woods and Prairies. The prairie grasslands and river valley woodlands would have provided habitat for a wide variety of animals and plants-and ready resources for early hunters and gatherers in the region.
