Brazos Fishtail, top, from Horn Shelter, and classic San Patrice point variants St. Johns and Hope. The long-bladed Horn Shelter point is early stage, not having been resharpened like the points below. The three variants typically have ground stem margins, fluting or thinning of the base with two or more vertical flakes, and concave basal areas. Both Brazos and St. Johns have short expanding stems, with small rounded ears. The Hope form has more parallel-sided to slightly concave lateral edges and may have a V-shaped basal concavity.
