Artist’s depiction of a cluster of La Junta pithouses showing a large flat-roofed rectangular adobe structure, a small circular house, and a smaller jacal and adobe house with several partially open walls. This scene is somewhat fanciful, particularly the large, presumably communal structure with thick adobe covered walls and white plaster, but many of the elements of La Junta village life ring true.
