| Darl component exposed in northwestern portion of the site. This stratified layer, representing occupations at the latter stage of the Late Archaic, became the chief focus of the investigations. Here, the top of a "sheet" midden, or thin layer accumulation of trash and debris, is being carefully exposed and documented. |
