| Shell and pottery-lined hearth (Feature 110-A). The shells were intensely burned and, as can be seen, the soil matrix was carbon-stained. In the background above the hearth the curving outline of the depression (F110) thought to represent the floor of a house (hut). Also visible are patches of the underlying sterile shell hash layer.
