Isolated adult burial, Feature 52, in Area 3. Dashed lines delimit area of organically stained soil next to skeleton, which contained numerous fish and cotton rat bones. These bones and shellfish remains very likely represent food offerings. Judging from the number of species and individual animals as well as the size of the dark stained area, a considerable quantity of food was placed in the grave. and A radiocarbon assay suggests this interment dates to the late 13th century.
