The Feature 83 grave of a child 4-8 years of age dates to the Early Historic period and was accompanied by a wealth of grave goods including a necklace made of alternating turquoise glass trade beads and tubular conch shell beads. The most prominent and unusual offering was a concentric pattern of powdered yellow ochre surrounded by red ochre power placed on the lower abdomen. This pattern is interpreted as a solar symbol.
