Dozens of large sherds of Rockport-type pottery were found at the Linn Lake site and refitted by THC steward Bill Birmingham to bring this native-made vessel back to its original form. Birmingham believes that the large size of the sherds indicate the site was relatively undisturbed for hundreds of years, unlike sites that are re-used on multiple occasions, trampling evidence left by previous campers.
