  • (A) explain how people in different regions of Texas earn their living, past and present, through a subsistence economy and providing goods and services.
  • (D) describe the impact of mass production, specialization, and division of labor on the economic growth of Texas.
  • (21) Social studies skills. The student applies critical-thinking skills to organize and use information acquired from a variety of valid sources, including electronic technology.

  • (2) Creative expression/performance. The student interprets characters, using the voice and body expressively, and creates dramatizations.
