These peculiar little vessels are Fulton
rattle bowls. The protruding nodes are hollow and contain small pebbles
or rounded pieces of clay that create a rattling sound when the bowl
is shaken. Late Caddo, ca. A.D 1400-1650, 41HS3, left pot (height =
5.5 cm, mouth diameter = 6.5 cm), right pot (height = 5 cm, mouth
