| Cache Bifaces: This term is applied to large, percussion-flaked bifaces found in Archaic caches in areas on and around the Edwards Plateau. Many specimens are very large, and numbers of specimens in a cache will range from three to thirty or more. The specimens in the photos are from south Austin, and are part of the Fairview Cache exposed in the 1920s. |
